How long does it take to get an LR Manual licence?

Do I need manual driving experience before starting LR Manual training?
No. You do not need prior truck experience. If you can drive a manual car, the transition is usually straightforward. Training is adjusted to suit beginners as well as experienced drivers.
What vehicle is used for LR Manual training and the PDA test?
Training and assessment are conducted in a DOT-approved Light Rigid manual truck, the same vehicle used for your PDA, so there are no surprises on test day.
